This past weekend was much needed for various reasons. I needed to rest, unwind, get away, and enjoy it all at once. Sometimes having a nice planned weekend is amazing and other times going with the flow and taking each day as it comes works out better. This weekend was one of those “go with the flow” type of weekends. After a very busy work week by the time Friday came I was ready to log off my computer and enjoy the 3-day weekend.

So I decided I’d share with you some pictures of my weekend and make this post both short and sweet.

Saturday:

My best friend and I decided that we would take a hike and get out of our usual spots. As soon as we woke up, we got changed made breakfast and headed out to Gunpowder State Park for a nice Saturday hike. The weather was perfect and I got to break in my new running shoes (post to follow). Nature is so beautiful. The peace that comes with being surrounded with beautiful green trees and small rivers makes me embrace a spirit of gratitude.

Sunday:

Morning workout at Pop Physique to begin our day which was then followed by brunch at Dooby’s. Yummy.

After brunch it was off to the pool to enjoy the sun and relax by the water.

Monday:

While everyone was at yummy BBQ’s or enjoying the beach, I rested and decided to have a much needed day in bed to watch my new addiction, Game of Thrones. After seeing an email informing me that Free People was having a sale, I changed and headed to the mall. Even though I didn’t find anything on sale, I bought the cutest pair of pants and a necklace that I cant wait to share with y’all. Below was just my lazy yet comfy outfit. Glasses, shirt and shorts all from Free People. 🙂

It wasn’t a crazy or wild weekend, but it was just what I needed.

Hope you all had a great past weekend as well! 🙂

Xo.
